    c'mon man, there are heaps of new venues these days.

    ruby rabbit, rock n roll muther fucker, spectrum is packed out like 3 nights a week, sol bar...

    its not all bad.
    moderators have to much power and freely exercise it in this forum

    apparently the annandale goes to court again this week over noise issues with the community. apparently they wont be putting any heavy bands for the rest of the year at least.

    That's fucked.

    The Annandale has been there for years, and is a renown live music venue.
    I don't understand the mentality behind choosing to live near a venue like that, then whinging about the noise...

    yeah nucleus tried to book our EP launch there but they knocked us back coz we were too heavy.

    It does suck totally. I mean, they even emplyed the Shhh Police there for a while, but it obvioulsy didnt work that well...

    Don't listen to those idiots who claim to know anything about music Scott. You are right, but the problem is unless you fit into a certain category of band, those venues won't book you. Plus most of those venues are shit anyway.
